I love this family!  It was so fun to see them all this year.  I first met them several years ago as the son and daughter-in-law’s wedding photographers, years ago!  Then I had the pleasure of photographing the daughter and son-in-laws first baby, Ava.  Now this year I get to photograph their second daughter, Claire, she her here.  For the session I got to see the whole family again!

I have not seen this family for a year.  It was nice to see them.  We met in the park for family pictures.  We had so much fun.  I love families.  It always reminds me i need to get some pictures of my own family.  Kids just grow and change so fast.

Good friends of mine, Brian and Melissa Howell, are doing Savannah’s Race on June 13, an Amazing-Race-type road rally where we perform challenging tasks around the Denver area, and raise funds for Down syndrome patients and families. They are racing in honor of Porter Easton, our friends Jeannie and Evan’s son who was born this spring with Down syndrome.

- It is important to note that 100% of funds raised by Savannah’s Race go to the MHDSA, which has been awarded the “Best In America” Seal of Approval as one of the top charities in the country, and one that meets the high standards of Independent Charities of American (ICA) and Local Independent Charities of America (LICA). The Independent Charities Seal of Excellence is awarded to the members of Independent Charities of America and Local Independent Charities of America, and have, upon rigorous independent review, been able to certify, document, and demonstrate on an annual basis that they meet the highest standards of public accountability, program effectiveness, and cost effectiveness. These standards are those required by the U.S. Government for inclusion in the Combined Federal Campaign. Of the 1,000,000 charities operating in the United States today, it is estimated that fewer than 50,000 (or 5 percent) meet or exceed these standards; and, of those, fewer than 2,000 are awarded this Seal.

Natalie’s brother is here!  We had a great newborn session in studio the other day.  Colby did great for his session.   He didn’t want to sleep but he was happy.

Welcome to the world Ava.  She was such a sweetheart for her session.  Her parents are so in love with her I can just tell.  I love seeing new parents with there babies.  I can’t wait to see them again in a few months.

Barrett visited me in studio the other day.  He is such a cutie.  It looks like he is going to get his daddy’s red hair.  He was a little older than I like newborns to be but he did just great.

After 1+ months I FINALLY updated my on-line calendar.  http://www.chadwickzone.com/index2.php?v=v1 click on schedule.  As of right now it is up-to-date.  Now tomorrow (or even later today) it might not be, but it is a start, right…  As always calling me is the quickest way to book an appointment.  I look forward to hearing from you

“I” is a big sister.  “M” arrived a few weeks ago.  I had the pleasure of photographing her this week.  She is just as sweet as her sister was as a newborn.  After much discussion we decided to do the session in home.  They wanted to make sure that the pictures looked different since was also did her big sister’s newborn session in home a few years ago.  It was fun to think outside the box and pay around with some new ideas.
