I met one of my favorite families downtown for a family session last week.  I had such a great time with their two little boys.  I love downtown sessions with little boys.  You can see them here and here.

Here we go again more boys!  I love taking pictures of boys downtown.  I love the urban feel.  It is a nice change of pace for me.  This session was great.  Eli, the big brother, did not want to stay still, imagine that.  Max, the baby, did just great.

I have had so many boy sessions lately!  I love them boys all the time.  Boys are so busy I tell you they are all over the place.  They keep me busy for sure.  I had the pleasure of meeting with Liam and Colin the other day.  You can see them here, here and here.  Now that Colin is a year I will not get to see them as often

This was such a fun session.  It was a Father’s Day present from the girls to their dad.  I love surprises.  We almost had to reschedule the session.  There was a tornado just over a mile from my house on the day of the session.  Luckily it missed my house.  Then true to Colorado weather it cleared up and the sun came out just in time for the session.

The girls watch “America’s Next Top Model” so they knew just how to model.  They all did so great.  It was so hard to pick pictures to preview!  Enjoy

I was so excited to see Casey again.  I started taking his pictures back when he was a newborn!  I can’t believe how much he has grown.  We decided to go downtown for his session….since it is not yet green here in Denver.  We has such a great time.  The weather was just perfect.

Jacob’s one.  I can never believe how fast the first year goes.  With my own kids It was so much fun to watch them grow but I sure miss the baby stage.  Jacob was great for his pictures.  We were even able to do some with his big brother!  It was beautiful in downtown Denver…there were even flowers in bloom!  A few days later we had a blizzard, gotta love Colorado!

Lauren just turned 12 months :(  I get so sad when babies in the baby steps program graduate, I miss them.  Their first year goes by so fast.  We had a great final session downtown.  It was a bit on the cool side but we were fine.  We took a break in the book store and the train depot.  Thanks Lauren for a great year.

This family lives out of town so we had to fit the session on a sepcific day.  It was cold, but it was the warmest day they were here.  We really wanted to do a downtown session.  We bundled but had tried it….baby “S” was just not happy it was too cold.  So we had to get creative!  We took several in a bar, with permission.  Then off to the book store for some more.  All in all the session turned out great.

Meet “G”.  I met “G” when he was first born.  I had the pleasure of photographing him several times during his first year.  I was thrill when I was contacted for his 2 year portraits.  “G” had so much fun downtown.  He could not get enough of finding all the buses.

Downtown Denver sessions are some of my favorite sessions. I just love the textures of downtown. Now that it is getting cold I usually do more down town sessions. This is such a fun family. This was our last session since “A” just turned one. I hope to get to see him again when he is two.
