Meet Rocco

He is 13 months and has been walking since 9 months….needless to say I ran around at this session! He brought his parents to the photography session. We met at Wash Park by the flowers. I love the flowers at wash park in late August! The sun was shinning, it was a perfect day. We had such a great session I can’t wait to see him again

I visited little M’s Denver house the other day. The photography session was a surprise for her mom

At first M didn’t want to have anything to do with me, but after we played for a bit we had a great session. It was so fun to capture her in her own environment!

As much as I tried I could not get this little guy to sleep! Good thing he was adorable awake. We did the session in his Denver home. Newborn photography in home adds so much personality to the pictures. I love using part of their house/furniture in the session. For this session they had this great green chair, I love it…in fact I want it.

I met Celia at her house in Englewood, Colorado for her 2yr old photography session. I first met her family when I photographed her mom while she was pregnant with Celia. One of my favorite parts about photography is watching the kids grow up! At the session I learned that Celia is going to be a big sister in 2011! I am so excited to see them all again for the newborn photography session.

Celia was a typical 2 year old running all over the place. We somehow managed to get her to follow directions a few times and then i just chased her all around the house and yard

I was ready for a nap after the session

This maternity client finally had her sweet daughter. We met at her house in Lakewood for the photography session. Newborns are just amazing. I love how tiny they are. I really don’t think I will ever get over what a miracle each new baby is. I love my job.

I had another great session with Avery and her family. We decided to have the session at Washington Park in Denver, a great location! Avery was super awesome, like always, for her pictures. I just love seeing her little teeth come in. I am sad to see another baby turn one

I can’t believe how fast the first year goes.

Elyse has the cutest red hair, I love it! She is such a doll. We had a wonderful session at the Denver Botanic Gardens. She is such a happy baby. This is the second time I have had the pleasure of photographing her, one more session to go

One thing I love about the holidays is that I get to see families again! Once kids get to about a year or 2 I only get to see them once a year and it is usually just in time for Christmas pictures. This family had another great session in Wash Park, one of my favorite parks. The lighting was just right!

A few weekends ago I was lucky enough to be the photographer for John and Andrea’s wedding. They are just such a great couple. I was referred to them from this wonderful family, thanks Miles and Venessa

They were married at a cute little church in Denver near Washington Park. We walked over to Washington Park for the pictures. The flowers are just perfect this time of year. For the reception we drove over to an art gallery. All in all it was just the perfect wedding! I am so glad I was apart of it. Enjoy

Over the past couple of years I have cut back on the number of weddings that I do each year…I just can’t do weddings AND portraits and have enough time to schedule everyone. So for the most part my weddings are referrals, which I love. Here is a stroy for you. Back in 2006 I met Jennifer to photography her maternity pictures..I then continued to photography her twins for their whole first year.

Fast forward to 2008 Jennifer’s Sister Kelly is pregnant and I have the pleasure of photographing her son for his whole first year.

Now in 2010 Kelly’s best friend Toni is getting married…guess who gets to be the wedding photographer, ME! Seriously I love my clients! I get so excited to see them again. Plus it is the best feeling to have them recommend me, I LOVE THEM!!

Back to the matter at hand, Steven and Toni’s wedding! Their wedding was perfect. They selected Willow Ridge Manor in Morrison, CO. The location had awesome views of the red rock in the background. It was a perfect Colorado sunny summer day! They were surrounded by friends and family. The best part, for me, was that I was the one there to capture all the memories for them! So sit back and enjoy their wonderful wedding slideshow.
