Maternity sessions -with a two your old- are always interesting.  For the first few minutes I was not sure we would get any!!  He waited nothing to do with taking pictures.  That is until I brought out my secret weapon…..M&Ms!  They worked and we were able to get all the shots I wanted. Thank You M&Ms!

Another newborn, I love them!  This is Marley.  She was the perfect age of 1 week.  She did just great for her session…except posing on daddy’s shoulder she did not like that one bit

Kara was such a sweet little girl.  She slept for most of her session, I just love it when babies sleep.  I went to her house and was able to find great light.  She was the perfect age just a week old.

Barrett visited me in studio the other day.  He is such a cutie.  It looks like he is going to get his daddy’s red hair.  He was a little older than I like newborns to be but he did just great.

Abby visited me in studio the other day.  She was such a happy newborn.  I met her parents a few years again when I photographed their wedding.  It was so good to see them again and meet Abby.

I had the pleasure of photographing this couple’s wedding and now they are back with their new baby :)  Meet Kaitlynn and her big sister Kierstyn.  Dad wanted some pictures with his tattoos, so fun!  I had fun with Kierstyn while her parents were trying to put Kaitlynn to sleep.  Kaitlynn was a bit older than my usual newborn so she wanted to stay awake!

Last week I met Amelia and her new sister Audry.  Amelia loved having her picture taken….as long as Audry was nowhere near her.  We had hoped to get some of the two girls together but there was no way Amelia was going to let that happen….two year olds!  Audry was an angel the whole session.

Lauren just turned 12 months :(  I get so sad when babies in the baby steps program graduate, I miss them.  Their first year goes by so fast.  We had a great final session downtown.  It was a bit on the cool side but we were fine.  We took a break in the book store and the train depot.  Thanks Lauren for a great year.

Harper visited me in studio the other day.  She is such a sweet baby.  I am so glad i will get to see her again in a few months.

Look who is 4 months old already.  I can never get over how fast they grow.  When Kendall showed up for her session I said “hi” to her while she was still in her car seat and she gave me two of the most perfect little smiles…..then made me work for them the rest of the session.  As you can see we were able to get her to smile but they were not easy!
