I was so happy when Hadley’s mom called to book a session from her new brother, Braxton. I just love when i get to see past clients again, I miss them.

Yay! Summer is almost here. Now that it is nice outside I will be doing more and more outdoor sessions. Lighting is the best in the morning at 9 or 10 am or in the evening after 5pm. This limits the number of sessions I can do outdoors each day. Please call to book early for the best times, especially if you want a weekend.
My weekends in July are already booked as are several in June and August.
Thanks for visiting my blog I hope you come back often to see updates, special events and sneak peeks.

This was such a fun session. It was a Father’s Day present from the girls to their dad. I love surprises. We almost had to reschedule the session. There was a tornado just over a mile from my house on the day of the session. Luckily it missed my house. Then true to Colorado weather it cleared up and the sun came out just in time for the session.

The girls watch “America’s Next Top Model” so they knew just how to model. They all did so great. It was so hard to pick pictures to preview! Enjoy

Information on Savannah’s Race. Feel free to make a donation
Good friends of mine, Brian and Melissa Howell, are doing Savannah’s Race on June 13, an Amazing-Race-type road rally where we perform challenging tasks around the Denver area, and raise funds for Down syndrome patients and families. They are racing in honor of Porter Easton, our friends Jeannie and Evan’s son who was born this spring with Down syndrome.
- It is important to note that 100% of funds raised by Savannah’s Race go to the MHDSA, which has been awarded the “Best In America” Seal of Approval as one of the top charities in the country, and one that meets the high standards of Independent Charities of American (ICA) and Local Independent Charities of America (LICA). The Independent Charities Seal of Excellence is awarded to the members of Independent Charities of America and Local Independent Charities of America, and have, upon rigorous independent review, been able to certify, document, and demonstrate on an annual basis that they meet the highest standards of public accountability, program effectiveness, and cost effectiveness. These standards are those required by the U.S. Government for inclusion in the Combined Federal Campaign. Of the 1,000,000 charities operating in the United States today, it is estimated that fewer than 50,000 (or 5 percent) meet or exceed these standards; and, of those, fewer than 2,000 are awarded this Seal.
You can still mail us a check made payable to Savannah’s Race. OR you can make a donation via PayPal at the Savannah’s Race website:

We have another session in a few months so we plan to do an outdoor session then. See more of Colin, here and here.
